Congratulations to Drs. Miguel D. Regueiro and Bruce E. Sands on receiving the Sherman Prize and Dr. Sidhartha R. Sinha on the Sherman Emerging Leader Prize!
We’re proud to congratulate three AGA members who were recognized with a Sherman Prize for their exceptional dedication to improving outcomes for patients with IBD. Miguel D. Regueiro, MD, and Bruce E. Sands, MD, MS, were selected as the 2026 Sherman Prize honorees, and Sidhartha R. Sinha, MD, received the Sherman Emerging Leader Prize.

The prize recipients will be recognized at the Advances in IBD (AIBD) conference in Orlando, FL, on Dec. 8, with a tribute film.
