Why Nominate?

Candidates can be nominated by colleagues, peers, educators, advocates – anyone who can attest to the candidate’s qualifications. Nominators may submit multiple applications. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
To nominate, follow these steps:
- Click the “Submit a Nomination“ button on the right to be taken to our online nomination application system.
- For First-Time Nominators, you will be asked to create a new account.
- For Returning Nominators, please use your existing email and password. If you cannot recall your login credentials, please contact us at info@shermanprizdev.wpenginepowered.com.
- Once you have logged in, the 2026 Nominee Consideration Form can be accessed by clicking “Apply“ at the top of the page.
- Complete the short (up to 200 words) Supporting Statement and upload your nominee’s CV. Click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page.
- For Returning Nominators, the option to have the basic details from a prior nomination automatically input is available by clicking the “Copy Process” button at the top left of the page and selecting the applicable nomination.
All submissions will be given careful consideration by the Sherman Prize Selection Committee. If your nominee moves forward to the next stage, you will be asked to complete a Nomination Form and provide additional information in support of your candidate.
